  • Oratorical Contest Scholarship

    Eligibility: Students, current and under age twenty, must be current attendees or residents of the state where they are to participate in the contest. Students must compete at the local American Legion Post level. The winner will then move on to the district contest, with the winners advancing to the area competition. Four winners will move forward to the state finals each January. Winners will be awarded for each of these competitions, however the national scholarship awards will be awarded to the top three students in the final round of the national contest.
